This course provides an essential overview of the new SRA Handbook with particular emphasis on the SRA Code of Conduct and SRA Accounts Rules. Delegates will learn about the role and responsibilities of a Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and a Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA). The new style of regulation adopted by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under Outcomes Focused Regulation (OFR) is also examined in detail.
